Teddy's Tasting Notes May Notes

Can you believe I’m now almost eight months old! This month, I’ve experienced something very strange. My mum and dad have told me it’s called sun, but all I know is that I was very hot and had to cool down a lot in the shade.

Good thing I’ve had different wines to try this month, otherwise I would have completely overheated.

This month I’ve also been sampling the Honu Sauvignon Blanc. It’s crisp and fresh, smells like citrus and passion fruit and I’m certain there’s some lime and gooseberry in there too. I thought it was very nice.

But my favourite has been the Domaine d’Elise Petit Chablis. I’ve found this has gone down particularly well with my sausage and liver doggie plates.

Now that the weather has been warming up, my furry friends have been coming out to play. I’d love to meet more of you – and feel free to bring your humans down to the pub too.

See you next month,

Teddy xx

June Notes
Well, June is a very exciting month for me! That’s because it was Father’s Day and, on the day, I was all over my dad, licking him to death and telling him how much I love him. Dad has also been to a vineyard this month. I wasn’t allowed to go because I’m still too young, but I’m really hoping that he brings back some wine for me to try. My palate is still not there yet, but I’m learning and the more wines I can try, the better. I’m also excited because the football World Cup started this month. I love chasing the ball (even though part of me knows it’s only on TV) and can’t wait to see England win (here’s hoping)! Catch up with more news on my Instagram page – you can see it by clicking here. And before I go, just a quick new wine recommendation: this month, it’s the Cawston Cove Chardonnay. From South Africa, it’s ripe with fruit flavours of peach and melon, along with a hint of vanilla. You can either have it on its own or with roast chicken, creamy pasta dishes or herb salads. That’s all for me this month. Join me for more adventures in July! Woof! Teddy xx
