Charity Pram Race around Alderton village starting and ending at the Pub.
This popular village custom is now back in action every Easter Bank Holiday Monday. Adult and Children's races for teams of two in homemade or modified, non-motorised vehicles of almost any description! Fancy Dress is usual (2011 was a Royal Wedding Theme!) and there are prizes for the winners.
This is a major event in our Fundraising calendar and is usually featured in the Gloucestershire Echo newspaper.
Featured in the Cheltenham Oracle Magazine, this special auction of items and promises raised over £4000 towards research into Angelman Syndrome.
This is a rare chromosome disorder and of particular concern to Alderton as it affected local child Sam Sherbourne.
Our main 2007 fundraising raised around £700 towards Alderton Church's new Auditory System.
This new facility has been a huge asset to Church not just for normal services but special events such as concerts & children's nativities, as well as benefitting the hard-of-hearing via an inductive loop.
Vintage Motorcycle Club Meeting
In June 2008 we hosted a meeting of the Vintage Motorcycle Club. Many locals came along to view over 60 old bikes and chat to their owners.

We are pleased to have been supporting the international organisation 'Action Against Hunger' since 2006, who work to help malnourished children and families, particularly on access to safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger.
We fund-raise every October through loose-change donations and ourselves donating a percentage of all Chef's Specials ordered that month. In 2007 this amounted to £112, and £174 in 2008.
